This course has been designed for the average police officer to have a better

understanding of the details needed that are missed in most response to

resistance reports. The students will also learn courtroom testimony skills that

will assist them to be a better witness. The attending officers will have the

abilities to make informed decisions about use of force after attending this

course, and be able to document those decisions in their reports. This course

delves into the process after force has been used on the street and

covers aspects of internal affairs procedures, training, and OIS incidents.
