Training Force USA - HUMAN TRAFFICKING, The REALITIES of MODERN DAY SLAVERY

Friday, October 12, 2018

Human Trafficking is a form of modern day slavery and is a crime against humanity. A multi-billion dollar criminal industry that denies freedom to millions of people around the world. And no matter where you live, chances are it's happening nearby. From under-aged girls forced into prostitution at a truck stop, to the man discovered washing dishes in a restaurant kitchen, stripped of his passport and held against his will, to undocumented workers forced to clean guest rooms at a resort hotel... All trafficking victims share one essential experience: the loss of freedom.

This One-Day Class is designed for Law Enforcement Personnel, School Resource Officers, NGO - Service Providers, Victim Advocates, Medical Professionals, Faith-Based Organizations and anyone interested in learning more about this horrific crime. The primary focus of this class is to provide an understanding of the origins, methods of operations, and indicators associated with the trafficking of human beings that create big profits for the traffickers. Human Trafficking includes forced labor, domestic servitude,
sex trafficking, and domestic minor sex trafficking. The class will acquaint law enforcement personnel with the importance of a victim-centered approach to the investigation and rescue of victims and the importance of a collaborative effort between law enforcement and social service providers and the criminal justice system to ensure a successful prosecution.

INSTRUCTOR:
